About The Cello

Available now is a beautiful contemporary Italian cello by Fabio Piagentini, made in Lucca 2011. Full of rustic charm and constructed with a free hand, the cello is uniquely designed and performs with a great sonority and confidence. It is made in a lightly antiqued style with a blend of varnish depths from deep red to golden brown.

Tonally the cello is very punchy and will be able to perform on stage with great ease with a balance of power and clarity. It has great depth whilst also having an instant, pliable sound for the player to express themselves with. Finished with Thomastik Spirocore Tungsten C&G strings and Larsen Magnacore D&A strings, it has a classic, professional tone. The cello has also been upgraded with a Ruschil London Belgian bridge to add further power, directness and stability.

The cello comes with the original certificate from the maker. It also comes with a classic case from BAM in black.
