Tonally it is phenomenally well balanced and smooth, with beautiful depth, earthiness and clarity across the strings to suit quartet, orchestra or solo playing.

“The Cranleigh, 2024” is an original model viola handcrafted in the contemporary style. Measuring 16 3/16” it is a medium to large sized viola made from deeply flamed Carpathian maple and north Italian spruce.
